Early each year, MLQ presents a “Challenge” which members may respond to over the course of the year. Completed objects are anonymously presented at our December meeting. Members then vote for their favorite quilted object.

You are asked to create a quilted item that calls to mind a special time of year that you love, your one favorite season.

Some guidelines:

Method and design are quilter’s choice.

Your Challenge item can be a quilt, purse, or other items that are quilted.

The items can be pieced, appliqued, embroidered, multi-technique, embellished, abstract ,modern, traditional, etc.

There are so many options.

There are no size limitations.

As always, should you choose to participate, finished quilts are due at the December Tea, December 8, 2023.
